Diagnóstico productivo y comercial de la cadena apícola: provincia del Guayas (Ecuador)

RESUMEN:

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo desarrollar estrategias locales que fortalezcan la competitividad de pequeños productores apícolas del Guayas a partir de la evaluación de la cadena agroindustrial de miel de abejas. La fuente de información que se utilizó para realizar la investigación se obtuvo mediante información estadística y entrevistas que permitieron el estudio del mercado aplicadas a productores, comerciantes y consumidores, se pudo determinar la oferta y la demanda de productos apícolas existente en la provincia. Como resultado del trabajo realizado se concluyó que existe una demanda insatisfecha. Actualmente el mayor consumo lo tienen la miel de abeja, jalea real y polen.

ABSTRACT:

The present work aims to develop local strategies that strengthen the competitiveness of small beekeeping producers of Guayas based on the evaluation of the agro-industrial chain of honey bees. The source of information used to conduct the research was obtained through statistical information and interviews that enabled the market study applied to producers, traders and consumers, the supply and demand for beekeeping products in the province could be determined. As a result of the work carried out it was concluded that there is an unmet demand. Currently the highest consumption is the honey of bee, royal jelly and pollen.
